BAL-SHAYANASANA - YOGA
TECHNIQUE:-
Lie down on your stomach with the right leg straight & the left leg slightly bent in front of you. This is done in such a manner that the left knee falls in line with a little below the level of the waist line while the right side of the face rests on the ground.
The left hand is placed on the ground right in front of your face by bending your elbow at the shoulder level, while the right arm is placed behind your body with the palm facing the sky.
Breathe slowly but deeply through the nose & feel the breath in your nose, throat, chest and stomach.
Stay in this position for at least 5-10 minutes in order to get deep relaxation or, if your sleep is distracted at night, you can use this posture to bring back your sleep naturally, within just a few minutes.
