The second wave of Covid-19 has struck upon many countries.  There is a dramatic surge in positive cases each day. The majority of people who test positive are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms. You can treat these symptoms at your home.

 Are you wondering how? Here are some tips to help you fight against Coronavirus if you or your loved ones show mild symptoms.

 1.   Isolate yourself
After getting yourself tested positive for the Covid-19, the first thing you need to do is isolate yourself immediately to curb the spread. Staying in isolation will help keep everyone around you safe. Create a plan, stock up essentials for the time you'll be in isolation. Keep a list of emergency contacts with you at all times.

 2.   Rest it out! sleep more
Remember that your body is battling against a virus. Take utmost care of yourself and rest. During this period, your body will need more energy. Do not stress out, think about good things, pray and stay optimistic. Sleep for around 9-10 hrs. Sleeping will save you energy. Also, try to sleep in a prone position that will fulfill your body’s oxygen needs.  Take a plentiful amount of rest to help your body gain strength and give the virus a tough fight.

3.   Drink plenty of water
Hydration is significant for the body. Drinking a lot of water will help to prevent dehydration. A hydrated body can improve the immune system and will help you to recover soon. Also, adding some ingredients like lemon, honey, cinnamon, etc., can get you relief and improve digestion.

4.   Take counter medications if needed
If you have mild symptoms of Covid-19 like a sore throat, fever, body ache, you can take some medicines according to the doctor's prescription to get relief. Make sure you follow the dosage recommendation so that you will not get any side effects. 

5.    Maintain a wholesome diet
During this period, you need to maintain your health and stick to a nutritious diet plan. Food can provide all the necessary minerals, vitamins to your body. Make sure you consume fresh fruits and vegetables. Vitamin C proves to be beneficial during this period. Don't skip meals even if you experience tastelessness or loss of appetite.

6.    Track your daily progress
Every day track how much you have improved. Progress tracking will help you and your family to understand how much you have recovered. If you observe no improvement in your health, you need to contact emergency help for further procedures.

7.       Stay calm. Don't Overthink
